Coin images dated 2015 from theNational Numismatic Collection were photographed during the last week of July, 2015 using a medium-format digital camera with an 80MP back.Focus stacking (between 5-9 images per coin) was used. In addition, using an extremely fine conservation-approved dust brush, each coin received one or two light passes to remove loose surface dust or other matter. Anything remaining was not dislodged and could not be removed outside of the conservation department.
