Chemo BrainPost-chemotherapy cognitive impairment (VERY misleading Title!) is definitely NOT fun! Chemotherapy left me with Diabetes and peripheral neuropothy. I am still quite weak and it will be a long recovery. October 2015
Recovery is slow I am still quite weak from the cancer,Chemotherapy andRadiation. I am in remission but the murder of my police officer son, Shaun, has slowed recovery considerably.

Watch for -
Pelvic or abdominal pain or discomfort;
vague but persistent gastrointestinal upsets such as gas, nausea, and indigestion;
frequency and/or urgency of urination in the absence of an infection;
unexplained weight gain or weight loss;
pelvic and/or abdominal swelling, bloating and/or feeling of fullness;
ongoing unusual fatigue; Do NOT chalk it up to depression!
unexplained changes in bowel habits.
If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, ask your doctor for a combination pelvic/rectal exam and
and trans-vaginal ultrasound. A CA-125 blood test is not infallible. More on new test as I find it.
A pap test WILL NOT detect ovarian cancer.

On October 29,2014, my SWAT policeman son was murdered while on duty. He was given a hero's funeral rivaling that of Kennedy's.
