Wikipedia's principle of maintaining aneutral point of view requires that editors withconflicts of interest (COIs) avoiddisruptive editing. However, editors with COIs are among the most passionate about the subjects in question, and their contributions can still be valuable. When I edit an article whose subject I have a COI with, I usually attempt to stick to non-substantial changes (e.g. adding images, improving formatting, correcting grammar).
To maintain the integrity of Wikipedia and ensure I am editing ethically, I will disclose all relevant conflicts of interest to the best of my ability.[note 1]
