Hi, I'm AusLondonder. I joined the project back in 2015 and my activity varies over time depending on motivation and how much spare time I have. My recent work has focused on improving categorisation, cleanup of over-looked articles, removal of poorly-sourced and promotional articles, and creation of new content.
In my opinion Wikipedia needs to focus on quality over endless quantity. There are tens of thousands of one-sentence articles about "unincorporated communities" that just don't exist, low-power radio stations with no sources, directory listings of embassies amongst many other problem areas.
We need to do better on ensuring all articles have genuine secondary source coverage. Everything in articles should be verifiable with reliable secondary sources. In the age of AI slop, Grokipedia and chatbots we need to improve our reliability and credibility as an excellent source.
