Brianna Mazzola (born August 24,[1] 2000[2][3]) is an American musician. She has been a member ofThe Mickey Mouse Club and3Quency.
Mazzola was born inPhiladelphia and is of Italian descent.[4] She performed at theApollo Theater aged 12[5] and moved toLos Angeles a year later.[4] She also appeared in the short filmsLived andWelcome to the Special People's Club in the early 2010s[6] and released her debut EP,Taking Off, in 2013.[7] She then appeared in the filmsAnother Assembly (2014),The Greys (2015), andSable (2017).[6]
After auditioning forThe Voice,[7] she was announced for the cast ofThe Mickey Mouse Club in September 2017. At the time, she cited inspiration from female musicians with powerful voices such asBeyoncé,Rihanna, andJessie J.[5] After finishing with the show, she signed to a recording contract withHitco.[8][9] During that contract, she began applying makeup in the shape of an audio wave. She has stated that she was inspired to do so as a homage to superheroes and theMarvel Cinematic Universe, having been asked what herunique selling point was.[8] The label released the EPBrianna Mazzola in 2019[7] and dropped her in 2020.[8]
Mazzola provided the voice for Velvet inTrolls Band Together in 2023 and sung onits soundtrack's "Watch Me Work" and "Mount Rageous".[8][10] She then auditioned forNetflix'sBuilding the Band, which filmed in September 2024.[11] On the programme, she formed the band 3Quency with Nori Royale and Wennely Quezada, the latter of whom had also auditioned for Mickey Mouse Club.[6] The band took their name from 'three' and 'frequency', a reference to Mazzola's makeup.[12] The band won the series in July 2025[13] and subsequently released the singles "Top Down", "Once I Was a Good Girl", and "Clique".[14]
