Urmetan (Russian andTajik: Урметан) is a village andjamoat in north-westernTajikistan. It is located inAyni District inSughd Region. The jamoat has a total population of 18,016 (2015).[2] It consists of 7 villages: Urmetan (the seat), Madm,Revad,Vashan,Veshkand,Vota andYovon.[3]
