Urdaneta is a Spanishtapas restaurant andwine bar inPortland, Oregon, United States.[1][2] Chef Javier Canteras opened the restaurant in 2016.

Description

Urdaneta operates on Alberta Street, near the intersection of 31st Avenue, innortheast Portland.[3] Named after the owner's mother, the restaurant serves cuisine from Northern Spain and the Basque region.[4][5]

History

The restaurant opened in 2016,[6] in the space previously occupied by Natural Selection.[7] Urdaneta was founded by chef Javier Canteras.[8] It began serving weekendbrunch in 2020.[9]

Reception

Rebecca Roland included the tarta de queso inEater Portland's 2025 overview of the city's eleven best restaurants for desserts.[10]
