TheArt, Design and Architecture Museum[1] (branded asAD&A Museum) is a museum of theUniversity of California, Santa Barbara, located inSanta Barbara County,California, United States.[2]
Built in 1959, the museum was originally agallery forarteducation at UC Santa Barbara.[3] Today the AD&A contains afine art collection of over 8,500 works.
Other than the 8,500 original works the AD&A also possesses over 1,000,000architecturaldrawings,historicphotographs,writings,scrapbooks, and three-dimensional objects in theArchitecture and Design Collection.[3]
The museum's digital collections were enhanced during theCOVID-19 crisis so that audiences could continue to enjoy its resources while quarantine was in place.[4]
