TheUnion Territory Cricket Association is the governing body of thecricket in theUnion Territory of Chandigarh inIndia and theChandigarh cricket team. Since August 2019, UTCA got affiliated to theBoard of Control for Cricket in India following itsmerger with the Chandigarh Cricket Association (Punjab).[1] It will be playing its firstRanji Trophy season in 2019–20.[2] In August 2019, BCCI announced that Chandigarh will be featured in the Plate Division of the BCCI domestic season 2019–20. FormerIndian cricketer,V. R. V. Singh, was named as the firstcoach of the team.[3][4]
