Umm al-Keif (Arabic:أم الكيف), also known asTimar[2][3] (تيمر), is a village nearTell Tamer in westernal-Hasakah Governorate, northeasternSyria. Administratively it belongs to theNahiya Tell Tamer.
The village is inhabited byAssyrians belonging to theAssyrian Church of the East, andArabs.[4] At the 2004 census, it had a population of 1,072.[1]
