Ulvan[2] is a village on the island ofUlvøya inHitra Municipality inTrøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the western side of the island, along theFrøyfjorden, about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) west of the village ofKnarrlaget. Ulvan is home to a largefish processing plant operated byMarine Harvest.
