Ugo Province

Ugo Province (羽後国,Ugo-no kuni) is anold province of Japan in the area ofAkita Prefecture[1] and some parts ofYamagata Prefecture (specificallyAkumi District).[2] It was sometimes calledUshū (羽州), withUzen Province.
