Unione Sportiva Dilettantistica Caravaggio is anItalian association football club, based inCaravaggio, Lombardy. Caravaggio currently plays inSerie D.
The club was founded in 1958 after the merger betweenU.S. Veltro andOlimpia.[2]
At the end of the 2007–08 season, Caravaggio merged withU.S.O. Calcio, a team from the nearby town ofCalcio, formingU.S. Calcio Caravaggese.
In the summer of 2009, the representatives of Caravaggio left the Calcio Caravaggese after disagreements over team management, refounding Caravaggio with the current denomination.In the season 2009–10 the team played inSerie D, after having acquired the sports title ofPedrengo Calcio, but it was immediately relegated toEccellenza Lombardy.
At the end of the 2011–12 season the team was promoted fromEccellenza Lombardy toSerie D.
The team's colors are white and red.
