UIMA (/juˈiːmə/yoo-EE-mə),[1] short forUnstructured Information Management Architecture, is anOASIS standard[2] forcontent analytics, originally developed atIBM. It provides acomponent software architecture for the development, discovery, composition, and deployment ofmulti-modal analytics for the analysis ofunstructured information and integration withsearch technologies.
