TheUFC Performance Institute is the officialmixed martial arts (MMA) training facility for AmericanpromotionUltimate Fighting Championship (UFC), a division ofTKO Group Holdings, a majority owned subsidiary ofEndeavor Group Holdings.[2] The building is located inEnterprise, Nevada, opposite theUFC Apex, and serves as the company headquarters.[3][4]

History

The Institute was opened in May 2017, and is the world's first mixed martial arts center for innovation, research and training.[1][5][6][7]

As many as 400 MMA athletes have visited the center, as well asNFL,NBA,NHL andMLB athletes.[8]

In June 2019, a second facility was opened inShanghai, China. The official name of the facility isUFC Performance Institute Shanghai.[9] It has been used to train athletes from China for theOlympic Games.[10]

Two new facilities are proposed for Mexico and Nigeria.[11]

UFC Performance Institute Mexico will open in Q4 2023.[12]
