A light heavyweight bout between formerUFC Light Heavyweight Championship challengerThiago Santos andMagomed Ankalaev served as the event headliner.[3]

A featherweight bout betweenJoshua Culibao andDamon Jackson was scheduled for the event.[4] However, Culibao was pulled from the event for undisclosed reasons and was replaced by Kamuela Kirk.[5]

FormerKSW Women's Flyweight ChampionAriane Lipski andJJ Aldrich were scheduled to meet in a women's flyweight bout.[6] However, Lipski was removed due to undisclosed reasons and replaced byGillian Robertson.[7]

Mandy Böhm was scheduled to meetSabina Mazo in a women's flyweight bout at the event.[8] However, Böhm withdrew from the bout due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced byMiranda Maverick.[9]

A lightweight bout betweenRicky Glenn andDrew Dober was expected to take place at the event.[10] However, a week before the event, Glenn withdrew due to a torn groin and was replaced byTerrance McKinney.[11]
