Nik Lentz was expected to faceJeremy Stephens at the event. However, Stephens pulled out of the bout with an injury and was replaced byThiago Tavares.[3]
A bout betweenJosh Koscheck andMike Pierce was expected to take place on this card.[4] However, Koscheck was shifted from this event to a bout withAnthony Johnson atUFC 106, while Pierce would faceJon Fitch atUFC 107.[5]
