A lightweight bout betweenRafael Fiziev and formerKSW Featherweight andLightweight ChampionMateusz Gamrot headlined the event.[3]

A heavyweight bout between promotional newcomer Valter Walker andJake Collier was booked for this event.[4] However, Walker withdrew due to an ankle injury.[5] He was replaced byThe Ultimate Fighter: Team Peña vs. Team Nunes heavyweight winner Mohammed Usman.[6]

A flyweight bout betweenBruno Gustavo da Silva andCody Durden was expected for this event. However, Durden was instead scheduled to face Jake Hadley atUFC on ESPN: Sandhagen vs. Font and the bout was cancelled.[7]

A middleweight bout between Aliaskhab Khizriev andJacob Malkoun was scheduled for the event. However, Khizriev was pulled from the event for undisclosed reasons and was replaced by promotional newcomerRobert Bryczek.[8][9] Bryczek then also pulled out of the fight and was replaced byCody Brundage.[10]
