A middleweight bout between formerUFC Middleweight Championship challengerJared Cannonier and formerLFA Middleweight ChampionGregory Rodrigues headlined the event.[3]

A women's flyweight bout betweenThe Ultimate Fighter: Team Peña vs. Team Nunes flyweight winner Juliana Miller and Carli Judice was scheduled for this event.[4] However, Miller withdrew from the fight due to an injury, so the bout was scrapped and Judice was booked for another event.[5]

A middleweight bout betweenJacob Malkoun andRodolfo Vieira was scheduled for this event.[6] However, Malkoun withdrew from the fight due to an undisclosed injury.[7] He was replaced byAndre Petroski.[8]

A welterweight bout betweenRinat Fakhretdinov and formerLFA Welterweight Champion Gabriel Bonfim was scheduled for this event.[9] However, Fakhretdinov withdrew from the fight due to an undisclosed injury and was replaced byKhaos Williams.[10]

A welterweight bout between Billy Goff and Nikolay Veretennikov was scheduled for this event.[11] However, Veretennikov withdrew from the fight for undisclosed reasons and Goff was moved toUFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Song one week later to face Adam Fugitt as a replacement.[12]

A lightweight bout betweenJared Gordon and Kauê Fernandes was scheduled for this event.[13] However, Fernandes withdrew from the fight due to visa issues and was replaced by promotional newcomer Mashrabjon Ruziboev.[14] In turn, although Gordon made weight, the bout was cancelled due to Ruziboev's illness.[15]
