A women's bantamweight bout between Hailey Cowan and Tamires Vidal was expected to take place at the event.[3] They were originally scheduled to meet atUFC on ESPN: Vera vs. Sandhagen in March 2023, but Vidal pulled out due to undisclosed medical reasons.[4] In turn, Cowan was pulled from the event due to a broken leg and replaced byMelissa Gatto.[5]
FormerUFC Flyweight Championship challenger (alsoThe Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions flyweight winner)Tim Elliott andTatsuro Taira was expected to take place at the event.[6] However, Elliott withdrew due to an undisclosed injury and Taira was rescheduled againstJoshua Van atUFC 302.[7]
A light heavyweight bout between Oumar Sy and Rodolfo Bellato was scheduled for this event.[8] However, Bellato withdrew for unknown reasons and was replaced by Antonio Trócoli.[9] In turn, Trócoli was replaced by promotional newcomer Tuco Tokkos for undisclosed reasons.[10]
