Tyron North Carrier (born December 19, 1987) is an Americanfootball coach who was formerly awide receiver for theMontreal Alouettes of theCanadian Football League (CFL). He playedcollege football atHouston.
Carrier finished his college career with 320 receptions, which is the second most in NCAA Division I/FBS history.[2] In his career, Carrier returned seven kickoffs for touchdowns, an NCAA FBS record that he shares withClemson'sC. J. Spiller,San Diego State'sRashaad Penny, andMemphis'sTony Pollard. His 7,490 careerall-purpose yards ranks sixth all-time. Carrier also holds the FBS record of 53 consecutive games with at least two receptions.[3]

In 2016, Carrier was hired as the wide receivers coach for theWest Virginia Mountaineers.[5]
In 2019, Carrier joinedDana Holgorsen at the University of Houston as assistant head coach and wide receivers coach.[6] He and the school parted ways in May 2021.[7]
After spending the 2021 season out of coaching, Carrier was hired in March 2022 as the wide receivers coach atTexas A&M–Commerce.[8]
In 2023, Carrier was hired as the outside wide receivers coach forGrambling State.[9]
