Typhus vaccines arevaccines developed to protect againsttyphus.[1] As of 2020 they are not commercially available.[2][3][4]

One typhus vaccine consisted of formaldehyde-inactivatedRickettsia prowazekii. Two doses were injected subcutaneously four weeks apart. Booster doses were required every six to twelve months.[citation needed]
