Tymoteusz Antoni "Tymek"Kucharczyk[1] (born 27 February 2006) is aPolish racing driver who is contracted to compete in the2025 Euroformula Open Championship with BVM Racing. Previously, he competed in the2024 GB3 Championship, finishing third overall. He made his car racing debut in the2022 F4 Spanish Championship withMP Motorsport,[2] in which he also came third.[3]

Career

Karting

Kucharczyk begankarting at the age of five and began regularly taking part in races in Italy at the age of eight.[4] In 2020 he joined Akademia ORLEN Team.[5]

Formula 4

In October 2021, Kucharczyk wonRichard Mille Young Talent Academy shootout and earned a seat inF4 Spanish Championship withMP Motorsport.[6]

On 30 April 2022, Kucharczyk made his Formula 4 debut at theAlgarve International Circuit. He finished the season with a win and 12 podiums and came third in the drivers' championship.[7]

GB3 Championship

Kucharczyk would make his debut in the series with Douglas Motorsport for the2023 GB3 Championship.[8] He would finish the season in 7th.

2024

For the2024 season, Kucharczyk would switch toHitech Pulse-Eight.[9] He would have a much more impressive season during his second year, achieving 4 race wins and finishing 3rd overall.

Formula Regional European Championship

On September 12 2023, it was announced that Kucharczyk would debut in2023 Formula Regional European Championship atMonza with theSaintéloc Racing team.[10]

Euroformula Open

Kucharczyk is contracted to compete in theEuroformula Open Championship with BVM Racing for the2025 season.[11] He secured the title in the second race at Monza, narrowly beating Yevan David by one thousandth of a second and finishing seven tenths ahead of Everett Stack.[12]

Personal life

Kucharczyk was born inŁodygowice in 2006. He namedAyrton Senna his racing hero.[13]
