Turners Hill is the highesthill in the county ofWest Midlands, England at 271 metres (889 ft) above sea level.[1] The hill is in theRowley Hills range, situated inRowley Regis, near the boundary withDudley.
The hill can be seen from many miles away, and offers good views toClent Hills,Kinver Edge,Shatterford Hill,Barr Beacon and on a clear day to theShropshire andMalvern Hills. There are good views of the hill from theM5 Motorway between Junctions 1 and 2.
There are workingquarries on the southern end of the hill that are used to obtaindiabase.[2]
On top of the hill are two largeradio transmission towers which can be seen for many miles.[3]
Dudley Golf Club is also situated on the hill.[4]
