TheTurbomeca Piméné was a small Frenchturbojet engine produced byTurbomeca in the early 1950s.[1]
First shown at the 1949Paris Air Show this engine passed official type tests in 1950.[2] A similar, but not directly related, smallerturboshaft, known as theTurbomeca Orédon, drove analternator and was used as an aircraftauxiliary power unit,[3]
