Tupi Paulista (before 1953:Gracianópolis[2]) is a municipality in the state ofSão Paulo inBrazil. The population is 15,583 (2020 est.) in an area of 245 km2 (95 sq mi).[3] The elevation is 400 m.
The municipality was created by state law in 1948.[4]

In telecommunications, the city was served byTelecomunicações de São Paulo.[5] In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted theVivo brand in 2012. The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable).[6]
