Tuotuorou (Chinese:;pinyin:tuótuóròu) is a dish of theYi people ofSichuan,Yunnan,Guizhou, andGuangxi provinces ofChina. It is often served to guests in Yi households, along withbuckwheat pancakes (known asmgefu ormgamo),garlic soup and unpeeled boiledpotatoes. It consists of tender chunks ofpork taken from young pigs of less than 15 kilograms (33 lb) in weight. This is seasoned with localherbs.
