Matthias Richter (German pronunciation:[maˈtiːasʀɪçtɐ]; born 18 January 1988), better known by his stage nameTujamo, is a German DJ andelectro house music producer. Tujamo, along withPlastik Funk andSneakbo, released the single "Dr. Who!", which peaked at number 21 on theUK Singles Chart.[1] He also had a hit withSteve Aoki andChris Lake,[2] "Boneless", which charted at #49 on theGerman Singles Chart and #42 on theAustrian Singles Chart.

Tujamo was born Matthias Richter in 1988 inDetmold,North Rhine-Westphalia.[3] He beganDJing at age 17 and in 2006 participated in and won a talent competition hosted by Club Index inSchüttorf, where he became a resident DJ.[3] He began using the Tujamo moniker that same year and released his debut single, "Mombasa", in 2011.[3] His first hit, "Who", was originally released in 2011 in collaboration withPlastik Funk, also from Germany.[3] It became a large hit at theWinter Music Conference, a Miami house club.[3] In 2014, his single "Boneless", released in collaboration withSteve Aoki andChris Lake, charted at number 49 on theGerman Singles Chart[3] and number 42 on theDutch Singles Chart.[4] The same year, he reworked "Who" as "Dr. Who!" with vocals from British rapperSneakbo and it charted at number 21 on theUK Singles Chart, receiving support fromAvicii,Tiësto,Fedde Le Grand andSteve Aoki.[3] He has also remixed songs byBob Sinclar,Peter Gelderblom andWynter Gordon and has played all over Germany and globally, includingSouth America,[3]Turkey,Brazil andRussia.[5] Some of his other singles include "How We Roll", "Do It All Night", "Back 2 You" and a cover version of Laserkraft 3D's "Nein Mann".[6]
In 2019, Tujamo became the all-time best-selling artist of the electro house genre atBeatport.[7]
