Tufahije (singular:tufahija) is adessert made ofwalnut-stuffedapples poached in sugar water. It is very popular inBosnia and Herzegovina,Serbia,Bulgaria, andCroatia.
TheBulgarianpechani yabalki are also stuffed with walnuts, but are usuallybaked, not poached.[1]
