Trichotemnoma is agenus ofliverworts restricted toNew Zealand andTasmania, and contains a single speciesTrichotemnoma corrugatum. It is classified in theorderJungermanniales and is the only member of thefamilyTrichotemnomataceae within that order. The generic nameTrichotemnona was originally published in 1964, but that publication was invalid under theICBN.[2]
