Tricephalous is a three-headed creature (similar to Godzilla'sKing Ghidorah) that was created on Monster Island by theDeviants under the command ofKro.[1] When Monster Island was attacked by Monster Hunters, Warlord Kro had Tricephalous attack while Kro escaped. Though much of Monster Island was destroyed, Tricephalous became a servant of theMole Man.[2][3][4]

When theFantastic Four arrived on Monster Island, Tricephalous tried to stop them. However, it was caught off guard and was defeated.[5]

ASkrull named De'Lila arrived looking for the Inorganic Technodrome and took over Tricephalous and the other monsters causing them to go on a rampage.[6] When De'Lila is defeated, Tricephalous and the other monsters return to Monster Island with thePunisher on their trail. However, he abandons the chase after seeing the Fantastic Four.[7]

While Mole Man was in his castle at the time he was discussing lettingAdam Warlock live on Monster Island, Tricephalous was shown circling Mole Man's castle.[8]

WhenSilver Surfer was visiting Adam Warlock, Tricephalous was shown with two unnamed monsters.[10]

To prevent the Fantastic Four from preventing him in his plan to create a pocket dimension,Aron the RogueWatcher summoned Mole Man,Giganto, and Tricephalous to fight them. Thing defeated Tricephalous by grabbing his necks and throwing him intoSuper-Skrull.[11]

Mole Man later sent Tricephalous and the other monsters to attackManhattan. The Fantastic Four halted their attack by usingPym Particles to shrink them, causing them to retreat.[12]

InThe Immortal Hulk (2020),Roxxon acquires Tricephalous and uses it to wreak havoc in Arizona. However, Tricephalous is driven off byRick Jones, who destroys its middle head.[13] Tricephalous later appears inFantastic Four (2024), where it is revealed to have regenerated its body.[14]
