Tribenoside (Glyvenol) is avasoprotective drug used to treathemorrhoids.[1] It has mildanti-inflammatory,analgesic, andwound healing properties.[2] Tribenoside stimulateslaminin α5 production andlaminin-332 deposition to help repair thebasement membrane during the wound healing process.[3] It is a mixture of the α- and β-anomers.[citation needed]

Tribenoside has been shown to inducedrug hypersensitivity syndrome in association withCMV reactivation.[4]
