TheTriangle Ribbon Championship (TRC) (トライアングルリボン王座,toraianguru ribon ōza) is awomen's professional wrestlingchampionship owned by theIce Ribbonpromotion. The championship was introduced on November 28, 2009, whenRiho defeatedNanae Takahashi andTsukasa Fujimoto to become the inaugural champion. Championship matches are contested in athree-way match format and have a 15-minute time limit, and the title isvacated in the event of a time limit draw.[3] Though primarily contested for by female wrestlers, four male wrestlers,Ribbon Takanashi andChoun Shiryu andMinoru Fujita andYasu Urano, have also held the title.
Like most professional wrestling championships, the title is won as a result of a scripted match. There have been a total of fifty-seven reigns shared among thirty-seven wrestlers. The current champion is Miran who is in her first reign.
Riho was the first champion in the title's history.[1]Neko Nitta holds the record for most reigns, with six.[4][5][6][7][8][9] Nitta also holds the record for the longest reign, at 389 days, the record for the shortest reigns are held byKakeru Sekiguchi andMinoru Fujita, who both held the title 6 days. Overall, there have been fifty-two reigns shared among thirty-four wrestlers.
