TheTreaty of Pavia was signed inPavia on October 9, 1617, between representatives of theSpanish Empire and theDuchy of Savoy.[1] Based on the terms of the accord, Savoy returned theDuchy of Montferrat to theDuchy of Mantua. Moreover, the treaty managed to establish an unstable peace between the Duchy of Savoy and theDuchy of Milan.
