Peace of Cremona (1270)

1270 peace treaty between Genoa and Venice

ThePeace of Cremona was concluded in 1270 between theRepublic of Genoa and theRepublic of Venice, ending theWar of Saint Sabas.[1] The peace was the result of pressure byFrance, thePope, andSicily, who moved the reluctant warring republics to conclude a five-year truce.[2]
