Trần Thị Hương Giang (born 14 January 1987 inHải Dương) is a Vietnamese model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Hai Duong 2006 and the 2nd Runner Up for Miss Vietnam Global 2009 in the US. Hương Giang was the official representative ofVietnam in theMiss World 2009 pageant inSouth Africa where she placed in the Top 16. In 2010, website GlobalBeauties named her Miss Grand Slam Asia 2009.[1]
Hương Giang studied journalism at a university and is a professional model.[2] She was the second runner-up of Miss Global Vietnam 2009,[3] finalist top 10 inMiss Vietnam 2006, and winner of Miss Hai Duong 2006.
Hương Giang is the first Miss Vietnam to ever place among the top 12 finalists of theMiss World Beach Beauty competition which took place at Zimbali Resort, Kwazulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa on November 25, 2009. She became the first runner-up in theMiss World Top Model competition. At theMiss World 2009, she placed in the final Top 16.
