Towradgi railway station is located on theSouth Coast railway line inNew South Wales, Australia. It serves the northernWollongong suburb ofTowradgi and opened on 18 December 1948.[3]
Towradgi Station has two side platforms serviced bySydney TrainsSouth Coast line services travelling fromWaterfall andThirroul toPort Kembla. Some peak hour and late night services operate toSydney Central,Bondi Junction andKiama.
An easy access upgrade was completed in May 2023, which saw construction of a lift on the middle of each platform, linked by a new footbridge.[4]
