Angel Jose Bastardo (born June 18, 2002) is a Venezuelan professionalbaseballpitcher for theToronto Blue Jays ofMajor League Baseball (MLB). He is ranked 27th onMajor League Baseball's 2025 Top 30 Blue Jays prospects list.[1]

On July 2, 2018, Bastardo signed with theBoston Red Sox as an internationalfree agent when he was 16 years old for a $35,000signing bonus.[2] He made his professional debut in 2019 with theDominican Summer League Red Sox. Bastardo did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[3]

Bastardo returned to action in 2021 with the rookie-levelFlorida Complex League Red Sox. In 10 games (6 starts), he struggled to a 1–3 record and 6.67 ERA with 33 strikeouts across29+23 innings pitched.[4] Bastardo made 22 starts for the Single-ASalem Red Sox in 2022, logging a 3–4 record and 4.50 ERA with 85 strikeouts over 82 innings of work.[5] He split the 2023 campaign between the Single-AGreenville Drive and Double-APortland Sea Dogs. In 24 starts for the two affiliates, Bastardo compiled a 2–8 record and 4.68 ERA with 149 strikeouts across119+13 innings pitched.[6]

Bastardo made 10 starts for Double-A Portland in 2024, registering an 0–5 record and 5.36 ERA with 53 strikeouts across45+13 innings pitched. On June 19, 2024, it was announced that Bastardo would requireTommy John surgery, ending his season.[7]

On December 11, 2024, theToronto Blue Jays selected Bastardo from the Red Sox in theRule 5 draft.[8] He missed the entirety of the 2025 season in recovery from surgery.

Manuel Beltre (born June 9, 2004) is aDominicanprofessional baseballshortstop in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Beltre signed with the Blue Jays in July 2020 as an international free agent, and received a $2.35 million signing bonus.[9] He was assigned to theDominican Summer League Blue Jays for the 2021 minor league season. In 53 games, Beltrebatted .225 with twohome runs, 29runs batted in (RBI), and 10stolen bases. Beltre alsowalked more than hestruck out, with 42 and 33 respectively.[10]

Connor Stutzman Cooke (born November 2, 1999) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Cooke attendedSulphur High School inSulfur, Louisiana and playedcollege baseball at theUniversity of Louisiana at Lafayette.[13] He was drafted by theToronto Blue Jays in the 10th round of the2021 Major League Baseball draft.[14]

Cooke signed with the Blue Jays and spent professional debut with theFlorida Complex League Blue Jays andDunedin Blue Jays. He played 2022 with Dunedin and theVancouver Canadians and 2023 with Vancouver,New Hampshire Fisher Cats andBuffalo Bisons.

John Chadwell Dallas (born June 26, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Dallas attendedWest Orange-Stark High School. In his senior season, Dallas was named Orange County's Most Valuable Player, allowing only fourearned runs during the season andbatting .410.[15] Undrafted out of high school, he attendedPanola College for one year, where he pitched to a 5–0win–loss record with a 1.15earned run average (ERA) and 71strikeouts in 39innings pitched.[15] Following the season, Dallas transferred to theUniversity of Tennessee. In his first season with theVolunteers, Dallas went 3–0 with a 2.53 ERA and 21 strikeouts before the season ended prematurely due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[15][16] In his second and final season in Tennessee, Dallas posted an 11–2 record with a 4.19 ERA and a team-leading 122 strikeouts in 103 innings.[15]

Dallas was selected by theToronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the2021 Major League Baseball draft.[17] In 2022, he was assigned to theHigh-AVancouver Canadians of theNorthwest League, and debuted with five no-hit innings.[18]

Hayden Michael Juenger (born August 9, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Juenger attendedO'Fallon Township High School inO'Fallon, Illinois and playedcollege baseball atMissouri State University.[19][20] He was drafted by theToronto Blue Jays in the sixth round of the2021 Major League Baseball draft.[21]

Juenger made his professional debut with theVancouver Canadians. In 11 games, he had a 2–0win–loss record, 2.70earned run average (ERA), and 34strikeouts over 20innings pitched.[22]

Johnny H. King (born July 26, 2006) is an American professionalbaseballpitcher in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

King attendedNaples High School inNaples, Florida.[23] As a senior, he was 8–1 with a 0.73earned run average (ERA) and 110strikeouts over47+23 innings.[24] He was selected by theToronto Blue Jays in the third round of the2024 Major League Baseball draft.[25][26]

King made his professional debut in 2025 with theFlorida Complex League Blue Jays and was promoted to theDunedin Blue Jays during the season.[27]

Adam Macko (born December 30, 2000) is a Slovakprofessional baseballpitcher for theToronto Blue Jays ofMajor League Baseball (MLB). He is ranked 16th onMajor League Baseball's 2025 Top 30 Blue Jays prospects list.[1]

Macko was born inBratislava, Slovakia and moved toAlberta, Canada when he was 12.[28] He attended Vauxhall High School in Vauxhall, Alberta. The Seattle Mariners selected him in the seventh round of the2019 Major League Baseball Draft. At the time of the draft, he was apermanent resident of Canada.[29]

Macko made his professional debut with theArizona League Mariners and played in one game for theEverett AquaSox.[30] He did not play for a team in 2020 due to there being noMinor League Baseball season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic. He returned in 2021 to pitch for theModesto Nuts and started 2022 with Everett.[31]

On November 16, 2022, Macko andErik Swanson were traded to theToronto Blue Jays forTeoscar Hernández.[32]

On November 14, 2023, the Blue Jays added Macko to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[33] He was optioned to the Triple–ABuffalo Bisons to begin the 2024 season.[34] In 20 appearances split between the Single-ADunedin Blue Jays, Double-ANew Hampshire Fisher Cats, and Buffalo, Macko accumulated a 5–5 record and 4.63 ERA with 105 strikeouts across93+13 innings pitched.

On February 17, 2025, it was announced that Macko would require surgery to repair atorn meniscus in his left knee.[35]

Macko is eligible to representCanada andSlovakia in international competition. He has expressed interest in representing Slovakia at theEuropean Baseball Championship in the future. In October 2025, it was reported he was also eligible for theCzech Republic national baseball team at theWorld Baseball Classic, through his parents, who were born before thedissolution of Czechoslovakia.[36]

McAdoo attendedDe La Salle High School inConcord, California and playedcollege baseball at theSan Jose State University. He was selected by thePittsburgh Pirates in the 13th round of the2023 Major League Baseball draft.[37]

McAdoo signed with the Pirates, and made his professional debut with theBradenton Marauders. He started 2024 with theGreensboro Grasshoppers.[38]

On July 30, 2024, the Pirates traded McAdoo to theToronto Blue Jays in exchange forIsiah Kiner-Falefa.[39]

Ryan Daniel McCarty (born April 22, 1999) is an Americanbaseballshortstop who plays in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

McCarty grew up inYardley, Pennsylvania and attendedPennsbury High School.[40] McCarty playedcollege baseball at Division IIIPenn State Abington for five seasons as a two-way player.[41] In his final season, he was the only non-Division I player to be named a semifinalist for theGolden Spikes Award after leading Division III with a .529 average, 100 hits, and 29 home runs.[42][43] In 2022, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theHarwich Mariners of theCape Cod Baseball League.[44]

McCarty was signed by theToronto Blue Jays as anundrafted free agent on July 21, 2022.[45] After signing, he was assigned to theDunedin Blue Jays of theSingle-AFlorida State League.[46] McCarty began the 2023 season with Dunedin, where he batted .248 with seven home runs and 30 RBIs in 59 games before being promoted to the High-AVancouver Canadians. He split 2024 with the Canadians and the Double-ANew Hampshire Fisher Cats and hit .244 with 14 home runs and 50 RBIs.[47] McCarty returned to New Hampshire at the start of the 2025 season before being promoted to the Triple-ABuffalo Bisons.[48]

Fernando José Pérez (born February 12, 2004) is a Nicaraguanprofessional baseballpitcher for theToronto Blue Jays organization. He is ranked 12th onMajor League Baseball's 2025 Top 30 Blue Jays prospects list.[1]

The Blue Jays signed Pérez as an internationalfree agent for $10,000 in 2022.[49] He was assigned to theDominican Summer League Blue Jays, where he made 12 starts and pitched to a 1–4win–loss record, 4.53earned run average (ERA), and 48strikeouts against just fivewalks in 4323innings pitched.[50] In 2023, Pérez played for theRookie-levelFlorida Complex League Blue Jays. In 11 games (10 starts), he went 2–2 with a 2.72 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 4923 innings.[50]

In 2024, Pérez was assigned to theLow-ADunedin Blue Jays, and was selected to theAmerican League's roster for theAll-Star Futures Game.[51][52] In 82 total innings with Dunedin, he pitched to a 3–2 record, 4.06 ERA, and 86 strikeouts over 17 starts.[50] He began the 2025 season with theHigh-AVancouver Canadians.

Yohendrick Alexander Piñango (born May 7, 2002) is a Venezuelan professionalbaseballoutfielder in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Piñango signed with theChicago Cubs as an international free agent in July 2018.[53] He made his professional debut in 2019 with theDominican Summer League Cubs. He did not play in 2020 due to the minor league baseball season being cancelled because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.

Piñango played 2021 with theMyrtle Beach Pelicans andSouth Bend Cubs. He played 2022 and 2023 with South Bend and started 2024 with South Bend before being promoted to theTennessee Smokies. On July 27, 2024, Piñango andJosh Rivera were traded to the Toronto Blue Jays forNate Pearson.[54] He started his Blue Jays career with theNew Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Piñango started 2025 with New Hampshire before being promoted to theBuffalo Bisons.

Joshua Ismael Rivera (born October 10, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballshortstop in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Rivera playedcollege baseball for theFlorida Gators for four seasons. He batted .253 with five home runs and 26 RBIs as a sophomore.[55] Rivera batted .38 with 19 home runs and 72 RBIs during his senior season[56] In 2021, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theChatham Anglers of theCape Cod Baseball League.[57]

Rivera was selected in the third round of the2023 MLB draft by theChicago Cubs.[58] He signed with the team on July 19, 2023, and received a $725,000 signing bonus.[59] After signing, Rivera was assigned to theRookie-levelArizona Complex League Cubs to begin his professional career. He played three games before being promoted to theSouth Bend Cubs of theHigh-AMidwest League.[60] On July 27, 2024, the Cubs traded Rivera andYohendrick Piñango to theToronto Blue Jays in exchange forNate Pearson.[61]

Robert Jonathan Schreck (born July 12, 2000) is an American professionalbaseballoutfielder in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Schreck attendedHarvard-Westlake School inLos Angeles, California. He playedcollege baseball atDuke University for four years before transferring toVanderbilt University for one year.[62] In 2021, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theCotuit Kettleers of theCape Cod Baseball League.[63] He was selected by theSeattle Mariners in the ninth round of the2023 Major League Baseball draft.

Schreck started his professional career with theArizona Complex League Mariners before being promoted to theModesto Nuts after two games. He started the 2024 season with theEverett AquaSox and was promoted to theArkansas Travelers. On July 29, 2024, the Mariners traded Schreck to theToronto Blue Jays forJustin Turner.[64][65] He started his Blue Jays career with theNew Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Schreck started 2025 with New Hampshire.

Kendall Tucker Toman (born November 12, 2003) is an Americanprofessional baseballthird baseman in theToronto Blue Jays organization.

Toman was born inColumbia, South Carolina, and attended theHammond School.[68] He began playing on Hammond's varsity baseball team when he was in the eighth grade.[69] Toman is committed to play college baseball atLSU.[70] As a junior, Toman hit .502 with eight home runs, and 25 RBIs.[70] Following the season he played for the under-18 US National Baseball team.[71] He was named a preseason All-American byBaseball America entering his senior season.[72] Toman finished the season with a .487 batting average, seven home runs, and 27 RBIs.[73]

TheToronto Blue Jays selected Toman 77th overall in the2022 Major League Baseball draft.[74] He signed with the Blue Jays on July 24, 2022, and received an over-slot $2 million signing bonus.[75]

Toman is the son ofMiddle Tennessee State head baseball coachJim Toman.[76]
