Tony Claessens (born 21 October 1989), better known by his stage nameClaessens (previouslyTony Junior ), is a Dutch DJ and record producer fromUtrecht . He has released a number of charting singles and is best known for his collaborations withDVBBS ,Nervo andTiësto .[ 1]
Tony Claessens was born as the son of Toni Peroni, a musician and drummer ofHet Goede Doel . His mother is actress and model Linda Dubbeldeman. Junior started out as a drummer.[ 2] [ 3]
In 2010, his first release was the single "Loesje", in collaboration with Nicolas Nox, which reached number 2 on the DutchSingle Top 100 chart.[ 4] Ain't Seen Nothing Yet " which reached number 55 of the Top 100.
The most success he had in collaboration withTiësto , together they released "Get Down " in 2015.[ 5] [ 6]
He has appeared with his father in the reality seriesToni & Tony: Zo Vader, Zo Zoon , which was shown onRTL 5 in 2015.[ 7]
In March 2021 Tony Junior was announced as the Bachelor in the sixth season of the Dutch version ofThe Bachelor .[ 8]
In February 2025 he changed his stage name from Tony Junior to CLAESSENS: after this change he completely abandoned thebig room house /house sound to switch totechno /hardstyle .
