Tom J. Morrissey (May, 1860 – September 23, 1941) was an AmericanMajor League Baseball player fromJanesville, Wisconsin, who playedthird base for the1882Detroit Wolverines of theNational League, and the1884Milwaukee Brewers of theUnion Association. In his 14 game Major League career, hebatted 54 times, collected 10 hits for a .185 batting average. In the field, he committed 11errors for a .711fielding percentage. His brotherJohn Morrissey also played Major League Baseball.[1]
Morrissey died at the age of 81 in his hometown of Janesville, and is interred atMount Olivet Cemetery.[1]
