Stephen Todd Franz (born April 12, 1976) is a formersafety in theNational Football League (NFL). He played professionally for theCleveland Browns,New Orleans Saints,Green Bay Packers andWashington Redskins.
Franz was born inEnid,Oklahoma and attendedWeatherford High School.[1] He playedcollege football at theUniversity of Tulsa.[2] He earned a degree in accounting from the University of Tulsa.
He was drafted by theDetroit Lions in the fifth round (145th overall) of the2000 NFL draft.[3][4] Franz played in 46 games over a six-year career.
After leaving the NFL, Franz became a Real Estate Professional in the Oklahoma City Metro Area. He and his wife Tisha have two children and reside inEdmond, Oklahoma.[5]
