Tivoli is an eastern suburb ofCork inIreland. Tivoli is in theDáil constituency ofCork North-Central.A station on the formerCork and Youghal Railway served the area between the 1860s and 1930s.[1][2]

The area is home to a number ofbed and breakfast establishments and the Silver Springs Hotel.[3][4] Thecedar trees, still growing in the area, were reputedly planted by SirWalter Raleigh, who lived there briefly.[5]

Tivoli's docks, part of thePort of Cork, provide container handling, facilities for oil, livestock and ore, as well as aroll-on/roll-off ferry ramp.[6] The docks are a significant point of entry for imported motor vehicles. The docks are to be phased out as the Port of Cork moves further downriver to the Ringaskiddy area.[7]

The container terminal at Tivoli docks is operated by thePort of Cork
