Thirparappu Waterfalls is located nearKulasekharam town inKanyakumari district,Tamil Nadu state,India.[1]
TheKodayar River makes its descent atThirparappu. The waterfalls is about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) fromPechiparai Dam. It is just a 15 min drive from the waterfalls. The riverbed is rocky and about 300 feet (91 m) in length.[1]
Other popular waterfalls inKanyakumari District areUllakaarvi falls,Vattaparai Falls and Kalikesam falls. All these falls are located in theWestern Ghats.
Thirparappu Waterfalls is about 35 km fromNagercoil, the headquarters ofKanyakumari District, about 55 km fromKanyakumari town and about 52 km fromThiruvananthapuram city, the capital ofKerala.[1]
