Town on the Black Sea coast of ancient Paphlagonia

Timolaeum orTimolaion (Ancient Greek:Τιμολαῖον) was a town on theBlack Sea coast ofancient Paphlagonia, at a distance of 40 or 60stadia north ofClimax and 100 to 150 stadia fromCape Carambis (modern Kerempe Burnu).[1]

It is located nearÇayyaka [tr] inAsiatic Turkey.[2][3]
