Tim Charles Pieter Receveur (born 30 July 1991) is a Dutch professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forEredivisie clubAlmere City. He formerly played forAGOVV Apeldoorn,VVV-Venlo,De Graafschap andDordrecht.
Born inAmersfoort,[2] Receveur started playing forAFC before moving to the youth academy ofAjax in 2000, where he subsequently played for 10 years. Afterwards he joinedNAC Breda in 2010, where he was appointedteam captain of the reserve team,Jong NAC, for the 2010–11 season.
Receveur then moved toAGOVV, where he signed a two-year contract.[3][4] On 8 August 2011, he made his league debut in the home game againstSC Cambuur (2–4). After AGOVV went bankrupt in January 2013, he moved toAlmere City FC a month later.[5] At the end of April 2013, he signed a two-year contract there, which he extended for another year afterwards.[6][7] On 15 May 2015, themidfielder sustained a serious knee injury during the second leg of the promotion play-off game against De Graafschap. Through ten months of injuries, he did not return to play until the end of the2015–16 season.[8] After the season ended, Receveur, who had become afree agent, moved toVVV-Venlo where he signed a one-year contract with an option for another season.[9] There, he lost the competition in midfield toDanny Post andClint Leemans and as a result only made 17 league appearances that year, 16 of them as a substitute, as VVV won theEerste Divisie league title.[10][11] After one season inVenlo, Receveur moved toDe Graafschap where he also signed a one-year contract.[12] With De Graafschap, he won another promotion to theEredivisie, this time through playoffs.[13] Receveur returned to Almere City in June 2018.[14]
On 27 January 2023, Receveur moved toDordrecht on loan until the end of the 2022–23 season, and also signed a two-year contract with Dordrect that began in July 2023 after his contract with Almere City expired.[15] Receveur left Dordrecht by mutual consent on 19 July 2024.[16]
In September 2024, Receveur started training with his former club Almere City.[17] Two months later, he signed a contract until the end of the season with the club.[18]
