Tim Denny Björkström (born 8 January 1991) is aSwedishfootballer. He last played forFredrikstad as adefender.[1]
Björkström started out playing youth football for Hanvikens SK before moving toIF Brommapojkarna when he was twelve. During his teens he trialed with foreign teams likeLiverpool F.C. but ended up staying in Sweden.[2] Brommapojkarna had a cooperation withthird tierStockholm clubGröndals IK at the time where Björkström was one of many players to go on loan to gain first team football experience.[3]
In 2009, he made his first team debut inAllsvenskan and became a starter for the club at right back throughout the following years until he left as a free agent at the end of 2014 to sign a three-year deal withDjurgårdens IF.[4]
In January 2023, Björkström joinedNorwegian First Division clubFredrikstad.[5]
On 25 August 2024, Björkström was loaned out toNorwegian First Division clubMoss FK for the rest of the season.[6]
Björkström has represented Sweden at theU17,U19 andU21 youth levels.[7]
Outside of his football career Björkström also owns and runs acar restoration company.[8] The night before each game he has a ritual where he eatscandy,potato chips and drinkssoda.[9]
