Tightrope Walker (sometimesTight Rope Walker)[1] is an outdoorbronze sculpture by Dutch artistKees Verkade, installed onColumbia University's Revson Plaza inUpper Manhattan, New York City, in 1979.[2] The work commemorates GeneralWilliam J. Donovan and depicts one figure standing atop another as hetightrope walks.[3]
