TheThouaret (French pronunciation:[twaʁɛ]) is a 52 km (32 mi)river in theNouvelle-Aquitaine region in westernFrance. It is a right tributary of theThouet.[1]
Its source is in the commune ofChanteloup, and its course crosses thedepartment ofDeux-Sèvres, where it flows northeast through the towns ofLa Chapelle-Saint-Laurent,Chiché andSaint-Varent, finally flowing into the Thouet nearThouars.
