Thomas Sinclair,PC (Ire) (17 December 1857 – 25 November 1940) was anIrish unionistpolitician.
Sinclair studied atQueen's University, Belfast before working as a surgeon.[1] He was elected to theSenate of Northern Ireland on its creation in 1921.[2]
He was elected as anUlster Unionist PartyMember of Parliament (MP) forQueen's University of Belfast at the1923 United Kingdom general election.[3] From 1935 to 1937, Sinclair served as DeputySpeaker of the Senate of Northern Ireland.[2] He resigned his Westminster seat on 18 September 1940 by appointment asSteward of the Chiltern Hundreds.[3] but held his Senate seat until his death in November.[2]
