Thomas Henry Sidney Rew (born 29 November 2007) is an Englishcricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and wicket keeper.[1]

Domestic career

A right handed batsman and wicket keeper he joined the academy atSomerset County Cricket Club ahead of the 2023 season.[2] At the start of the 2025 season he captained the Somerset second-XI.[3] In May 2025, he was called into a County Select XI to playZimbabwe, during theirtour of England, in Leicester, scoring an unbeaten 103 from 107 balls in the second innings.[4][5] He signed a short-term professional contract with Somerset in May 2025.[6] He made his professional debut for Somerset in theT20 Blast on 30 May 2025 against Surrey.[7]

In November 2025, Rew was signed by thePaarl Royals to play in theSA20.[8]

International career

On 30 June 2025 in a match against India Under-19s at theCounty Cricket Ground, Northampton, Rew set a new record for the fastest one-day century for England Under-19s, reaching his ton in 73 balls and going on to score 131 from 89 balls.[9][10]

He played ahead of his brotherJames in England'sAshes warm up game against theEngland Lions.[11]

Personal life

He is the younger brother of cricketerJames Rew, who made his debut for Somerset in 2021, when he also was 17.[12][13]
